We introduced our first product to the market in 2002 and have been building and supporting the agricultural industry ever since.

After years of study on the effect organic material and manuring have on the soil, we developed a specialized range of products that improves and restores the natural balances in the soil.

We as a company, Cool Ideas 73 (Pty) Ltd, manufacture agricultural products that are specifically designed to restore the natural balance in the soil.

Various agricultural practices cause a decrease in the soil's fertility. Fertilizers and agricultural chemicals harm the biological balances that are in the soil. Products produced and manufactured by us are called MOS (Microbial & Organic Solutions). MOS Products are used to improve and restore the natural balances in the soil. The microclimate in the soil is improved to help other organisms survive easier in the soil. Through this, healthy biological balances in the soil are created. Soil fertility is also rebuilt.

Improved soil fertility in the soil leads to root stimulation. Healthy roots help the plants build resistance against disease and drought. Improved root stimulation also helps in better utilization of plant nutrition that is applied and those that are naturally in the soil. MOS Products are 100% organic and non-toxic for humans, plants, and animals.

MOS contains Azotobacter bacteria that are nitrogen binders that can easily bind 50kg/ha N within one season under favorable conditions. Applied ammonium nitrogen is converted easier to the nitrate form if there is good microbial activity.

Locked-up phosphate in the soil is made available for consumption to plants through microbes. Depending on the clay content in the soil, the phosphate levels can easily increase with 15 p.p.m. within one season without extra phosphate application.

Where MOS products are used as part of a biologically integrated program, even the cation balances are improved, even though no chemical supplements were applied.
